June/July
How time flies and these two months we have had parties in Constantia, Somerset West, Wynberg, Mitchell's Plein, Gardens, Vredhoek, Durbanville, Blouberg, Century city, Hout Bay and Camps Bay....so we sure do get around. A few events, two at Sports Day's in Strand and Landsdowne, both of them the weather played havoc with us and painting was fun, and cold! Then we did the children's events at Mondeor Garden Centre and then KFC events all around the Peninsula. Glad to be kept busy in the Winter months and thankful for all those who continue to use us Balloon Angels

April May
Face paintedat the opening of La Cabane a very child friendly family restaurant in Hout Bay....as well as Easter at the Quarterdeck at Grandwest Casino. Four wonderful days at the cheese festival, this year at Sandringham Farm....it was totally awesome and sometimes hard to have to 'work'. Had parties in Muizenberg, Hout Bay, Constantia, Somerset West (the day of the devastating fires and we had to contend with the smoke and winds....the jumping castle went bouncing down the street...quite a day!) and then Paarl, Durbanville and Greenpoint just shows you how much we travel.Teaching balloon modelling to some of the interested children at a recent party was loads of fun and the time was over almost as it felt we had begun. Mastered the 'Hello Kitty' face, and did parrot, dragon, dinasour and snake faces...always up for a challenge and the 'knight' was also a big hit at the cheese festival. Today was the first time ever I was asked to do a 'rabbit princess' and the four girls who had the faces done were delighted although I was less than enthusiastic! In the meantime the balloons always give us room to create new and wonderful animals and creatures and we were quite pleased with the crocodile that we invented...picture coming shortly. I really need to be more handy with the camera, as I honestly don't ever think to document what I am doing and rely more on getting my photos from happy customers ...usually I am so busy doing what I do that I forget!

Christmas Rush
| Corporate party at Wynberg Park |
| pretty butterly |
December is always a busy time of year and even so with entertainers. We had lots of different gigs and travelled to many places from Riebeeckskasteel tothe Waterfront to Noordhoek, where we did corporate Christmas parties (Thatch Risk, Simeka, Nedbank, to name a few) and a number of nursery schools/creches and individuals....too many to mention. We are always very thankful for the work and hope that we will continue to delight both young and old during the coming year.
